Fresh Flowers That Last

Ahhh!!! Spring is here!!!

Well sort of here in London.
To he honest we still seem to be stuck in Winter. The weather seems to be on the state of confusion and plant life tends to suffer because of this.

Although we don’t have to be outside to enjoy the smell of lovely flowers, we can always hit up the Sunday market or even the supermarket to pick up a nice bundle of fresh flowers.  We take it home enjoy the beauty and the lovely smells but for not to long, we wake up one morning only to find our roses wilted and looking like someone took a lighter to the petals.

Worry NO MORE!!!!

Here is a tip to keep those lovely flowers lasting for even longer than what that lil packet stuck with tape can.
It is very easy…..

To keep fresh flowers longer this is what you will need:
Clorox (bleach)
2 Bayer Aspirin
7- up soda (pop) or Sprite

1.Take the vase you are going to use and fill it about halfway with 7Up instead of water.
2.Drop a small cap full of Clorox into the soda
3. Crush the 2 bayer aspirins and drop in the solution as well.
4.Stir
5. Take the flowers (of your choice) and cut the stem diagonally then drop it into the vase and set the vase somewhere cool with natural lighting

*** Caution: Be sure to keep solution away from pets or children
